I, David Attride, believe he was born in 1776 since the 1792 Rockbridge Co., VA Personal Property Tax List shows 2 white males over 16 yrs (excluding Nicholas and George Jr) and the next year shows 3 white males over 16 yrs. (SV-1419)
Note: Edgar Cress believes he was born in 1767 based upon pension deposition on 30 Sep. 1852 stating he was 85 years old. (SV-404 pg 719)
He may be a twin of John (SV-251)
Edgar Cress believes he died in 1867 based upon claim by Henrietta Evans. (SV-404 pg 721)
