1885 He moved to Kansas and lived there the rest of his life (SV-152 pg 213 & SV-404 pg 95)
Lucy Warren soon followed him to Kansas and married him. (SV-404 pg 95)

They rented farms in Brown co. and Atchinson co., Kansas. (SV-404 pg 95)
1891 They were in Cheyenne co., KS then they moved to Muscotah, Atchison co. (SV-404 pg 99)
1897 His brother James Conley Cress died while visiting family in Lee co., VA leaving land in Cheyenne co., KS which was deeded to his mother in 1900. She deeded it to Acel who moved his family their in 1905 and lived their until his death. (SV-242)
