Birth estimate: 1820 census shows her as 26-45 (implying birth 1775-1794)
1840 census shows her as 50-60 so her birth would have been 1780-1790. So I list is as 1780-179. (SV-657)
Is she sister of Peter Shupe/Shoop ?? (SV-1087)
She is not named in John’s will written in 20 Feb. 1849 so perhaps she was dead by then. (SV-404 pg 432 & SV-1087)
Barbara Hendrickson et. al. claim he may have married Catherine Hill. (SV-404 pg 431)
SV-351 says they married Abt 1815.
Her son, Josiah’s death record (SV-420) says her maiden name was Shupe.
