Passenger list calls him George Philip Cress. (SV-578)
He is listed as a passenger on the ship Robert & Alice from Rotterdam, 3 Dec. 1740. He is listed as Jurich Philip Kress; also listed are: Jacob Kress. Original source: Pennsylvania German Pioneers by Ralph Strassburger 1975 Vol. 1 pps 286-289. (SV-250)
This is the basis for supposition that he is the father of George Cress.
