I, David Attride, assume that Grant Crace is the same person as the Dock G. Crace on the 1920 KY census for several reasons: the age matches; census lists living with Grant his mother, Marilda, which agress well with Grant Crace’s mother’s name - Syrilda; finally a search of the 1920 KY Soundex for Crace does not list a Grant Crace.
1900 Magoffin Co., KY Census (Ancestry.com): Sarilda Crace (Jun 1850), living in Salyersville, widowed, with 5 kids: U. Grant (Aug 1878); Leanan (Apr 1883); William (Jun 1886); Amanda (Jan 1889); Samantha (Dec 1891); son-in-law, Albert Pace (Apr 1874); and granddau., Gracie Pace (Nov 1892).
