Floyd Co., KY Deed Book B, 4 Sep. 1819: “Received of Letty Adams, widow of John Adams, deceased, the sum of $100 it being in full satisfaction of his part and interest of his grandfather’s estate, Intated (sic) to his mother, Nancy Adams, deceased, until the youngest of the heirs of the said John Adams, decd. shall arrive at lawful age and at that time to receive an equal portion of the estate with the rest of the said heirs. signed Stephen Adams.
