She was not married to David H. Campbell but he fathered her son, Samuel P. McKinney. (SV-404 pg 417)
1850 Claiborne Co., TN (Ancestry.com): Nathaniel Cress (22 VA) living in subdiv. 7 with: Sarah J. Cress (42 VA); Shadrach Cress (11 VA); Samuel McKinny (7 VA); Amanda J. McKinny (4 VA); and Nancy Cress (56 VA). (but this seems fudged on the low side). (SV-404 pg 418 & pg 727 & SV-747)
